Official opening:
On 24th January Brookhill Children's Centre was officially opened.

As part of the official opening of Brookhill Children's Centre in January. Ed Ball MP, the Secretary of State for Children and Families, visited the the centre.

Minister visits new Places for Children nursery:
The Childrens Minister Ed Balls MP has visited a new Places for Children centre in Woolwich to see how 50 children are getting the best start in life.

The minister met youngsters and employees at the nursery to find out how it offers children high quality childcare services and learning and development opportunities.

"This is fantastic recognition of the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm of the nursery employees. I am delighted the minister has been able to witness the real difference we make to children`s lives.”
