Newburn Riverside is a high quality purpose built nursery with standards of excellence in Childcare and Early Year’s Education.

In October 2007 the nursery achieved the National Day Nurseries Association Quality Counts kite mark which marks a childcare provider out as special.  It builds upon our standards of excellence and compliments our underlying ethos of commitment to families, staff, the community, and above all children.

Healthy, nutritious meals are prepared on site by our fully qualified Catering Manager who ensures the food meets all  individual children’s dietary requirements, this level of service won an award  from  the National ‘Organix Nursery Food Awards.’ 

The nursery has also been awarded Children’s Champion and Investor in Children Nursery Status.

 We have a highly dedicated and professional staff team who constantly update their training and knowledge and provide care and education following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum Framework. 

Newburn Riverside belongs to the NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association) and agrees to NDNA's mission statement.

NDNA aims to enhance the development and education of children in their early years, through the provision of support services to members. It seeks to develop, encourage and maintain high standards in education and care for the benefit of the children, their families and their local communities.

As an NDNA member Newburn Riverside has achieved NDNA's Quality Counts accreditation. This comprehensive quality assurance programme provides a kite-mark to inform parental choice of childcare and reassurance and confidence in the quality of the setting.

The nursery is open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday 51 weeks of the year.

All nursery fees are fully inclusive of breakfast, lunch, tea and all snacks, formula milk, baby bottles and baby wipes.
